Grants
For teachers and school programs.
To enrich learning for Pellston students, the foundation offers grants to support school programs that may be outside the standard budget.
The first grant presented by the Pellston Education Foundation was a gift of $2,500 to Pellston Public Schools to support the return of music education to the schools. The grant was a match for a donation provided by Petoskey Rotary Charities. The total of $5,000 was used to purchase equipment, music, and other supplies.
Your donations help support learning in and out of the classroom.
The mission of the Pellston Education Foundation is to enrich learning opportunities for students of Pellston Public Schools through scholarships and grants.
Programming
Grants can help fund educational programs at Pellston Public Schools. In fact, the first grant distributed assisted in revitalizing the band program for middle and high schools.
Hands-on Activities & Field Trips
Special activities and field trips are often expected to be supplemented by students’ families or fundraisers. The foundation envisions a future utilizing grants to support such activities when enriched learning happens outside the school building.
Basic and Beyond
The possibilities are endless for enriching learning opportunities at Pellston Public Schools. Grants from the foundation exist to fill in the financial gaps that make these opportunities possible - from library books and in-class equipment to student-led clubs.
Your donations can fulfill dreams unimagined!
